
2025 Jordan Lowery
Jordan is a new name to know in the Hoop State. He will play a major role for the Lions this season. Jordan is a smart, high-IQ guard who has the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. The crafty playmaker has a tremendous feel for the game and makes everyone around him better. He also has the ability to knock down perimeter shots off the catch and bounce. Jordan will be the head of the snake and floor general for WS Christian this season.
2024 Isaiah Washington
Isaiah is one of the most talented players in North Carolina. He has tremendous size & skillset at the guard position. Isaiah has the ability to pick his spots on the floor and create his shot in a variety of ways. The three-level scorer continues to improve his decision-making and ability to make plays for his teammates. Defensively, Isaiah uses his length and athleticism really well and guards multiple positions on the court. Look for Isaiah to have a big senior year for the Lions.
2024 Tybo Bailey
Welcome back to North Carolina! Tybo is another huge addition for the Lions. The strong, skilled guard has the ability to beat you in a variety of ways. Tybo does an exceptional job getting downhill and finishing at the rim. He also showcased the ability to knock down perimeter shots. Look for Tybo to have some big-time scoring games this season. His recruitment should really take off over the next few months as college coaches flood into WS Christian.
2024 Lewis Walker
Lewis Walker has had a tremendous high school career at Winston Salem Christian. He has been one of the most consistent and productive players in the Hoop State over the past two seasons. Lewis is a competitor, leader, and winner. He will be a mismatch nightmare for opposing teams. Lewis has the ability to score inside and out. Lewis has worked extremely hard to improve his body, athleticism, and perimeter skills and you can really see the results.
2024 Chol Machot
Chol Machot should have a breakout season for WS Christian. Mobile, fluid center who impacts the game on both sides of the floor. Chol has tons of upside and potential. He has the ability to stretch the defense with his perimeter shooting. Rim runs extremely well in transition. Chol also will cause chaos defensively with his ability to block and alter shots.
2024 Felipe Patino
Felipe will be one of the better shooters in the hoop state. He has good size & frame at guard/wing position. Felipe has the ability to really fill it up from the perimeter, especially in catch-and-shoot situations. Felipe also showed the ability to drive closeouts. He should have some big-time shooting performances for the Lions this season.
2024 Brayden Crump
It’s nice to have Brayden Crump back healthy and on the court. Brayden is a skilled, strong forward who is capable of scoring from all 3 levels. Brayden can absolutely shoot the cover off the ball. He has a beautiful release with deep range.
2024 CJ Vaughn
CJ is a quick, shifty guard who has the ability to get downhill and create plays for himself & others. He also showcased his ability to knock down shots from the perimeter. CJ was arguably the best player on the regional team last season and will play a major role in the Nationals team’s success this year. He is a scrappy defender who will cause chaos guarding the ball. CJ is a great communicator and constantly brings positive energy to others around him.
2024 Maykel Petit Canny
Maykel played extremely well in their practice. He has good size, athleticism, and skillset at the stretch forward position. Maykel was extremely active defensively and on the glass. He has the ability to make plays getting to the rim and stretch the floor with his perimeter shot. Maykel will be another player on the Lions who will be a mismatch nightmare for opponents.
2025 Jaiden Reynolds
Jaiden is a long, athletic wing who has a ton of potential and upside. He uses his length and athleticism extremely well defensively and has the ability to guard multiple positions. He will impact the game offensively with his ability to get to the rim and ability to knock down catch & shoot 3’s.
2026 Darius McGlashen
Darius is one of the youngest players on the team but has a bright future ahead of him. He is a quick, paint touch guard who does a great job putting pressure on the defense with his ability to attack the rim. He has great end to end speed which allows him to really impact the game in transition. Defensively, he is able to crawl into the ball handler and create havoc with his quickness and toughness.
2027 Joel Kidane
Joel is the youngest player on the team. He is returning from injury so was only able to go during the non-contact parts of practice. Throughout the drill sessions, he showcased great ball-handling skills and touch on floaters. We look forward to watching Joel at WS Christian for years to come.
