On an early Friday morning, Phenom Hoop Report traveled to Greensboro to check out one of the premier teams in the state.' Greensboro Day has been known as one of the top winning programs in the state under head coach Freddy Johnson and they look to solid once again.

Check out the roster heading into the season, as Phenom Hoop Report sat baseline for their open gym.

2020 G Cam Hayes

Checking out the new NC State commit, Hayes showcased a great understanding and knowledge for the game.' He can play point and initiate the offense, playing with a great pace to his game but he also possesses a solid jumper on the floor.' What impressed as well is that he is a willing player that wants to develop and learn, something that doesn't always come with high-level prospects.

2020 G Carson McCorkle

McCorkle continues to be one of the top knockdown shooters in the state and he showed that once again, not missing too many jumpers in the open floor.' He also attacked the rim and finish strong with craft.' You can see that he has gotten quicker on the floor and is looking to get out in transition, which will be an issue with his ability to be a knockdown shooter.

2023 Jaydon Young

Young is a prospect that will not only be a big name for GDS but nationally and will have coaches' eyes on him early.' He has incredible size early on as a prospect, along with length that allows him to cover a lot of space.' Young understands how to use that same length on both ends of the floor.' One can see he is still working hard and learning the game but the upside is there to be special.

2021 G Brock Williams

He has been known as a scorer and that he will do once again, but he will also be able to distribute the ball to shooters around him.' He has a smooth, confident shooting stroke and can take defenders one-on-one.' Williams looks for his spots and can be that secondary ballhandler for this team.

2020 F Cason Pierce

Pierce is going to be that leader both on and off the court.' He will be one of the bigger prospects for the Bengals this season but with his ability to knock down jumpers, Pierce provides that stretch forward on the floor.' He will also be relied on rebounding in the paint as well.

2021 Bryce Harris

Harris coming from New York is a prospect to keep an eye on with his development and finding a fit for in the system.' He is a thick prospect that runs the floor well, gets to his spot and can play inside and out.' His strength will certainly help him in an array of ways and he will also be a mismatch for teams with his skill set to knock down the outside jumper.

2021 Cam Leake

He is a defensive-minded prospect and really moves his feet well on both ends.' He plays with intensity and with a high IQ on the floor, as he provides depth at the guard position.' Leake also is a solid ball-handler and can score when the opportunity is there.

2021 G Ege Can Katias

Coming over from Turkey, Katias is getting adjusted to the speed and physical play.' As he continues to develop his overall game, he can be that stretch prospect for a smaller roster with his size and ability to knock down outside shots.' He will be able to provide depth to the lineup this year.

2022 F Jackson Noble

The wiry forward will have his opportunities with his size on this team.' He works well around the rim, displaying solid post moves and can rebound at a high rate.' This summer, he showcased also that he could stretch the floor and knock down a few mid-range jumpers as well.

2020 F Christian Bailey

Bailey will also bring strength, mobility, and versatility to the floor once he recovers from having knee surgery.' They are expecting him to return sometime around November potentially.
