It was the final practice of the afternoon at Combine, as we got a chance to view some of the players that will be playing on the global and regional teams this upcoming season.  Here were a few players that captured our eyes on the court for either team.

2022 Liam Craven was terrific in the open gym, stepping into shots and showing tremendous range to his game.  A smooth shooter that doesn’t lack any confidence in his game. 2022 Fidel Mpanzo is a long, 6’10 prospect with a 7’1 wingspan; he is one that can really help to protect the rim and moves well from end to end. 2022 Zavion Bianchini is a 6’7 prospect that can operate in an array of ways, can score inside and out, and is a versatile prospect that finishes well around the basket.  Also, 2022 Ibrahim Mohamed caught some eyes with his vocal leadership and hustles every play on either end; really can play multiple positions and gets after it defensively, making those hustle plays.  2022 Hugo Lefevre had a solid outing in the open gym, playing under control, finding open teammates, and creating well for himself and others; really liked his court awareness.

2022 Jaider Rivas is one that was relentless on the court, getting all over the boards and being active on both ends; he really played hard to make extra-effort plays and is still a developing prospect on the court.  2023 Ajdan Kololli was relentless on the defensive end, really playing scrappy and getting into defenders, making them work.  2022 Omar McCollins made multiple plays in creating opportunities for himself, creating multiple scoring opportunities for himself. 2023 Abdulrahman Helwa brought some noise with his length and developing a skillset, but certainly made it a practice to remember with his throwdown that surprised a few. 2022 Christian Smith also made multiple plays in initiating and being a floor general, while also making a few plays for himself.

Overall, these two teams have an array of developing talent that will be interesting to keep their eyes on, so make sure to keep track of each.
