The afternoon continued, as Liberty Heights National and Concord Academy hit the floor to battle at the Phenom November Classic. Two teams with intriguing talent but also a variety of experiences, it was going to be interesting to watch who would be able to make a statement on Friday night. Liberty Heights used a balanced offensive attack, showing that they can be effective inside and out to help them get out to a 20-7 first-quarter lead. Concord Academy started to find some more success offensively, especially behind Jayden Munson but Liberty Heights continued to answer as well as we stayed around a 12-point lead all the way until halftime.

Liberty Heights was able to maintain their double-digit lead throughout the third quarter, continuing to get everyone involved and scoring effectively inside and out. And they didn't make anything easy for Concord defensively. Both teams couldn't always capitalize from the free-throw line either. Liberty expanded their lead to the start of the fourth quarter but Concord Academy quickly answered back with some big shots, getting to the line, and running in transition. They were able to cut it down to eight with just under six minutes to go in the game but that is when Liberty Heights made a run of their own. It quickly went back up to 15+ points last in the fourth, as Liberty Heights remained undefeated on the season with the Day 1 victory.
