Final game on Court 4 on Day 2, we brought fans a special treat on the girl’s side as Concord Academy and NC GBB Academy dueled it out on the court.  It was a high-scoring affair between the two teams in the first half, as both teams were able to attack and score well inside the arc.  Raven LeXander and Jael Hall were the ones to lead the charge for Concord Academy, combining for 17 first-half points, while Zoe Adams and Maya Robinson, two younger prospects, filled it up for GBB.

Throughout the second half, Concord was able to maintain a double-digit lead throughout, even though GBB continued to attack.  Concord Academy was just too much, creating turnovers, getting out in transition, and scoring easy buckets to increase their lead and secure the game.

Standouts:

2021 Jael Hall (Concord Academy): Hall was a leader on the court and one that you want to have the ball in her hands.  She played with a nice pace, saw the floor well, and made the right decisions in leading her team, whether it was finding teammates or scoring the ball.

2024 Raven LeXander (Concord Academy): She is a smart player on the court, playing with a tremendous basketball IQ.  She scored the ball well and used her length well on both ends, as he showed she could operate inside and out.

2025 Justice Zimmerman (NC GBB Academy): Zimmerman might have not been the offensive threat but she sure did work well on the boards.  She was a rebounding machine, being very active on the boards all game long.

2023 Maya Robinson (NC GBB Academy): Robinson is a young prospect that really captured the eyes of many with she play, scoring on multiple levels and being one that could be placed in multiple areas to operate.  An impressive young lady on the court and one to watch.
