#1 Carmel Christian (28-3) vs. #2 Christ School (30-4)
The two top teams are meeting up in what should be an epic battle. Both have racked up impressive wins, both have proven themselves to be the top teams in the Division and in the state, and now they meet up at Forsyth Country Day for the championship. Carmel Christian has proven to be one of the top teams in the region and has shown they can get it done both offensively and defensively. They will be led by 2023 Jaeden Mustaf, 2023 Bryce Cash, 2023 Khamani Wertz, and several others, as this is a veteran group that brings strong guards, and can be physical. Christ School though has guards to match up as well, as 2023 Emanuel Richards can be a physical force, 2024 Keenan Wilkins is quick and can score in a variety of ways, and 2024 Bryson Cokley certainly can use his size and knock down shots as well. Both teams also bring an intriguing matchup down in the paint, which could be a small factor to really watch in this game. If one of the teams can find success on the boards and down in the paint, that could be a big factor in the end. Otherwise, I'm going to be looking at who gets it done defensively in this one. Both teams have proven themselves all year long, and both would love to walk away with a championship. However, only one can come out on top, as they could be crowned as the top team in the state of North Carolina.
