After an entertaining day of basketball on Friday afternoon in Raleigh, we are ready to roll for Day 2 of the Phenom National Showcase at Ravenscroft high school.  Phenom Hoops continues to provide the best coverage around and if you, unfortunately, missed the action today, here is your game recap from the day.

Game Report:

First Half

Neither team shot well from behind the arc in the first half, combining for 6-for-21 from three.  However, Trinity Christian was able to get on the boards and create turnovers, making it difficult for Crestwood at times to find their offense.  Cam Oates played well for Trinity Christian, scoring 11 points and being scrappy on defense, while Todd Burt chipped in 7 points and 7 rebounds.

Kobe Antwi kept Crestwood within striking distance with 10 points, as his team found themselves down by double digits for most of the second quarter.

Halftime: Trinity Christian 35 ' Crestwood 25

Second Half

The guard play continued to push the tempo and turn up the energy on both ends, as Fred Dillone started to get in the boxscore, while Rob Wright Jr. and Oates continued to get it done.  Those three combined for 41 points in this matchup.  Overall though for Trinity Christian, they were able to get to their spots and finish around the basket, shooting 61 percent from the floor in the second half.

Elijah Fisher and Kobe Antwi led the way for Crestwood, scoring 38 of the 56 points.  Shots just didn't fall for the Crestwood, as they finished up shooting 37 percent from the floor and 22 percent from three.
