On Friday afternoon, the event ranked as one of the best in the country kicked off in Raleigh, NC.  The Phenom National Showcase was loaded with talent and Phenom Hoops brought full coverage throughout the event.

In case you missed the game, here is a full breakdown.

Game Report

Oak Hill looked like they wanted to come out with something to prove and took control early on, jumping out to an early 16-2 lead in the first quarter.  Bradley Ezewiro came out strong with eight points early on, but it seemed like everyone got in the act scoring wise.  Crestwood was able to get points on the board but they dug themselves a big hole early on.

End of First Quarter: Oak Hill 27 – Crestwood 12

Oak Hill continued their attack and balanced scoring.  Scoring inside and out all over the floor, they were clicking on all avenues in the first half.  Jamari Sibley led the way with 12 points, while Evan Johnson chipped in 11.  Bradley Ezewiro finished strong around the rim for 10 points, while Oak Hill knocked down 6 3-pointers.  Crestwood struggled knocking down their outside shots and kept Elijah Fisher in check.  6'7 Romad Dean played well though, scoring and getting to the free throw line for 7 first half points.

Oak Hill went 19-for-35 from the floor and held a 14-shot advantage in the first half to help them create their lead.

Halftime: Oak Hill 47 – Crestwood 21

In the third quarter, Cam Thomas started to heat up 15 points in the third quarter as Oak Hill continued to extend their lead in a big way.  Kobe Antwi was really the only true scoring threat on the floor but Fisher did have a few late buckets as well

End of Third Quarter: Oak Hill 76 – Crestwood 36

It was a running clock for the quarter and others were able to get into the action.  Oak Hill was just simply too much in the end and had too much firepower.  Fisher did show flashes for Crestwood in the end but simply wasn't enough.
