At the Phenom March Madness, it provided Phenom Hoops an early opportunity to watch players that will certainly be names to write down and check out throughout the summer. One player that had us all talking (and has since we first watched him at the start of the high school season) was 2026 6'5 Tarris Bouie, as the future looks bright for this intriguing prospect.

Bouie played this past season at Chambers and was a key guy coming off the bench as a freshman and was known for his ability to stretch the court with his outside shot. In a team loaded with veterans, Bouie was able to contribute early on but his time is starting to come.

The 6'5 long prospect gave us a glimpse of what could be coming this summer and at Chambers in the coming years, as you could see that Bouie was displaying more of his overall game and assertiveness. There is a lot to like about his potential early on; he is an extremely long prospect which makes you wonder how much bigger he could get.  But then you add his game into the mix; his ability to create and use his length to finish over or around defenders, his ability to make plays off the bounce and get to his spots, his range on his shot from all levels, and how tough of a matchup he can be with his skill set and size.

And again, this is just the start for this young man, as Bouie oozes with upside and he will have even more chances to shine and lead a team the older he gets.  But it is time to start learning his name now.

What Was Said:

'Next star coming from Chambers: 2026 Tarris Bouie (Team Eat) will have one of the biggest jumps IMO for players in his class. Extremely long, lean, athletic & oozing with upside/potential.'

'2026 Tarris Bouie (Team EAT) continues to be a prospect that simply pops out with a ton of potential. Has really added more to his game and you can see that his game is starting to click for him overall. Love his game early on.'

'’26 Tarris Bouie has impressed as a creator this morning, consistently making the correct read with patience and control. Known as a scorer, should Bouie develop into a true combo guard his already high ceiling will only continue to grow.'
