First Half

It was a struggle in the first half for both teams scoring the ball, as neither were able to get out in transition for much of the half and they played a half-court offense.  It showed on the scoreboard, as Lee Central held an early 10-8 lead after the first quarter.

Much of the same happened in the second as well, but DaVeon Thomas started to find some openings to help Lee Central hold the 1-point halftime lead 19-18.

Second Half

Lee Central continued to come out strong on the defensive end, as their zone defense created some havoc and kept Sumter out of the paint.  It also helped create some turnovers to create a double-digit separation halfway through much of the third quarter, eventually leading 34-22 after the third quarter.

Sumter was able to pick up their tempo offensively and find some openings down low, led by Jaiven Lowery-Isaac but they were never able to cut down the lead.  Lee Central, led by 2022 Lebron Thomas and company, helped secure the win in the second half.
