Next up on the schedule, we had to teams that were ranked high in the rankings this week and should be two of the stronger teams in the state. Providence Day and Winston Salem Christian National squared off, with talent to be found everywhere you look. But early on, it was Winston Salem Christian National that looked to make a statement, and that they did. Coming out red hot offensively and playing swarming defense, they jumped out to a strong 18-6 lead after the first quarter and only continued to build that lead in the second quarter. They didn't make anything else for Providence Day, as PDS struggled to get going offensively and couldn't slow down WS Christian. With the buzzer sounding at halftime, Winston Salem Christian had built a 44-17 lead.

Second half, you have to give credit to Providence Day as they really competed and started to battle back in the third and fourth quarter, eventually cutting it down to as many as 10 points late in the fourth. But the deficit was too much in the end, as WS Christian National got a big win at the Phenom Lakesgiving.

Providence Day: Riley Allenspach 21pts, 10rebs/ Trajan Thompson 9pts, 5rebs/ Nick Hailey 9pts
