We were heading into the afternoon session with Game 3 tipping off between an intriguing Hough team, taking on Metrolina Christian who was coming off a Day 1 victory.' Two evenly matched teams got underway and were trading baskets for much of the first quarter and into the second.' Both teams were looking to figure out each other's defense and find openings, as Hough held the narrow lead at halftime, 20-18.' Much of the same happened in the third quarter but Hough started to find more of a rhythm offensively, using their length to their advantage and scoring more around the basket.' Hough was able to hit a huge three at the buzzer to expand their lead 35-24 at the end of three.
Hough though started to get it done on both ends of the court, making stops defensively and really moving the ball well and scoring the ball effectively. It is what helped really open this game up in the fourth quarter, as Hough was able to earn the
