Being a leader, it's not about how good you are, it's about responsibility.  That means being responsible not only for what goes right and the good calls that you make, but it also means standing up and being accountable for the bad ones.  Breonna Roaf is that leader.

Alongside Miya Giles Jones, they make up a one-two punch that could very well result in a state championship! Confidence is Roaf’s calling card as she both wants and demands the ball in pressure situations. She is a cool, in-control floor general with the full package of offensive weapons at her disposal, and plays without fear of failure. She has a range out to 28 feet and uses the jab-step as well as any combo guard in the state. And is consistently among the top assist leaders in women's basketball across the state. She drops dimes all night long.

It's hard to typecast her as a true point guard because she does it all, a lockdown defender with eagle-eye court vision. The most important thing she brings to the table is she makes all of her teammates better and for that, we give her Phenom Hoops female athlete of the week.
