On November 7th, Phenom Hoop Report will be hosting our third annual High School Jamboree at Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. Over 30 teams will be making their way to Tournament Town to showcase their talents to a plethora of scouts, college coaches, and passionate fans. After thorough review of the field, our team decided to put together a little “sneak preview” of individual players and teams that people need to keep a close eye on.

TEAM:

Millbrook (Raleigh, NC)

HEAD COACH:

Scott McInnes

2014-2015 RECORD:

26-3

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Trejon Jacob

With so much talent being lost from last season, Jacob will be the go to guy for Millbrook this season and he showed that with his size and length, he could be in the race for player of the year in the conference. Last season, he averaged 7.5 ppg but expect that number to rise dramatically this season.

Faison Brock

He was another talented rising senior that will be part of a senior led squad. Even though they didn’t have the huge impact as last year’s seniors, this could be the season that players like Brock step up in a big way.

Patrick Dorsey

Dorsey will be a nice player for Millbrook this year, as this rising junior played last year at Ravenscoft. He has a 6’5 frame and should be another weapon for Coach McInnes this coming season that you will want to watch out for.

Jordan Whitfield

Transfer from Word of God that should be a great weapon this season for Millbrook. A very good prospect that is talented in many ways and is a proven scorer, which will be good for this team that lost so much talent. He currently holds an offer from Campbell.

OTHER NOTABLE PLAYERS:

John Burwell – had a big summer and should be one to watch for this season at Millbrook at the point guard position.
