Take a look at 2019 Calvin “CJ” Felder, a prospect that has competed in a few Phenom Hoops events in the past

Player Profile: Calvin “CJ” Felder

Phenom Hoops Notes:

“Felder is ahead of his time in the classroom and on the court. He's supposed to be class of 2020, but was gifted enough to move along quickly. Calvin has progressed along nicely the past 2 years. Felder spent the summer running with GA Stars & SC Hornets. He has elite handles, which allows him to get to the spots he wants. He has a much improved midrange and beyond the arc game. His strongest attribute is his post footwork, which is flawless for his age. Along with those skills, he's also a high flyer. Look for Felder to make a name for himself at SC Top 80 this year.”

“Felder is a little different as he is still figuring himself out. Stuck between a wing and a post right now, his skill set could take him either way. For his high school team, they have him rotating between the high post and the block. It make sense, he has natural explosion, great strength, and is very long with hands and touch. However, when he is in AAU or a camp setting Felder has natural wing instincts. Long term, we think he should develop into a big wing, because he is a 3 level scorer, with the ability to put it on the floor, and finish at and above the rim. If he continues to slow down, and follows this path he could track at the highest level.”

Player Description:

“I like to describe myself as an athletic guard/forward who can score from all three levels, handle the ball and rebound. But I like to get my teammates invovled before scoring for myself, constantly looking for the open man and assists. The parts of ym game where I feel I can improve on is my jump shot, perimeter defense, and speed. I believe if I can put all of those tools together and improve where I need to, I believe that I can be top recruit on the national level.”
