Kyle is an impressive player with a long 6'0 frame, athleticism, advanced skills and fantastic shot mechanics. 'His shot-making skills are a standout strength as Kyle hit big shot after big shot when I watched him at Made Hoops Winter Circuit Session II for BWSL Dreamchasers.' He is consistent at all three levels and his mechanics are fluid and textbook highlighted by excellent extension and follow through.'
Kyle demonstrates good footwork and balance and squares his shoulders nicely while getting solid elevation with a very high and quick release. 'He shows excellent awareness of floor spacing while doing a great job moving off the ball, frequently getting open for catch and shoot opportunities. 'Kyle's range extends well beyond the arc with impressive consistency.' He can pull up off the dribble and knock down jumpers at a good rate and also finish around the basket showing great touch and creativity.' Kyle's ability to move without the ball and stay active and get to his spots just demonstrates his great feel and awareness, he does a good job maintaining spacing and consistently getting open even though opponents know full well his shot-making prowess.' He fills lanes nicely in transition and finishes at the rim consistently.' He uses quick, rangy strides and a very quick first step to get into the lane with good frequency.'
Kyle uses stutter steps, between the legs dribbles and crossovers and incorporates hesitations effectively. 'Really shows great body control and shiftiness off the dribble where he can attack the basket and finish or abruptly stop and knock down the shot off the dribble.' Kyle can serve as a primary ball-handler in addition to being a high volume shot maker and scorer as he demonstrates very good vision and passing skills. 'Can create offense off the dribble for himself and for teammates and is unselfish.' Kyle has excellent decision-making skills and sees the floor very well. 'Defensively, he shows sound fundamentals and instincts, making great use of his size and length to defend on the perimeter and is a solid on-ball defender. 'He also uses his length to contest shots and defends passing lanes nicely.' Kyle rebounds the basketball and is capable of making plays all over the floor on both ends.' He plays with great energy and poise, shows leadership skills and confidence as a scorer and wants the ball with the game on the line. '
Kyle is a very promising up and comer who should become an impact high school player in the near future!
