Jaquan has a good mix of power and quickness and can score from all levels. He is an elite athlete and a game-changing presence on both ends of the floor! He’s an explosive leaper, elevates quickly and effortlessly with tremendous bounce! Jaquan has a fluid stroke and excellent shot mechanics with three-point range and can also score off the dribble both getting to the rim or on dribble pull-ups. He is very good at using the spin move and is efficient with his touches. He is very comfortable and hits the mid-range jumper at a high rate. He has a strong, durable frame and he plays through contact nicely.
Jaquan is a powerful leaper and punishing finisher who can play above the rim already! He can bully you on the drive to the rim or break you down with some crafty ball-handling that includes inside out dribbles, crossovers, and shiftiness but his ability to change speeds so effortlessly and abruptly makes him so difficult to contain. Gifted physically and athletically, Jaquan demonstrates excellent playmaking skills and scoring instincts. He’s a walking double/double as he pounds the glass relentlessly mixing length, explosive leaping ability with great timing and effort!
Jaquan can guard every position effectively at this level and given his physical and athletic gifts, great motor and competitiveness, and an advanced skill level, there is every reason to expect similar success throughout his high school career and beyond. Add Jaquan Womack to your must-see list!
