Keyontae Lewis 6'8 250 2022 LC Bird HS, Richmond VA

Keyontae is a man child of an athlete and I do mean athlete, he's not only big and strong he's also agile and very quick for a young man his size. He has very good offensive skills both facing the rim and with his back to the basket. When he posts you there's no bumping him off his spot, you're at his mercy and he's pretty much automatic when he catches the ball inside. He sheds bodies on his powerful and quick drop step move and he has a feathery touch around the rim. Very good facing the rim as well Keyontae can hit the jumper out to the 3 point arc at a respectable rate, he's very good inside fifteen feet and he can get his shot off the bounce simply out-muscling defenders or showing some creativity including a pretty quick and effective spin move.

Keyontae can dominate the defensive end of the floor as a shot-blocker and rebounder. He is amazingly quick off the floor and is a very good repeat jumper. He is relentless in pursuit of rebounds and when he grabs it, he ain't losing it! He has strong hands fights off contact for stick backs appearing not at all fazed by contact. Keyontae shows excellent timing for rebounds and as a shot-blocker and again his ability to effortlessly and quickly elevate off the floor is impressive. He is quick enough to help on ball screens stepping out to give a soft hedge and sprint back to the lane in recovery. I've seen him sprint out and block a three-point attempt!

Keyontae runs the floor exceptionally well for his size, he has great hands and footwork. He has a great motor and flat out owns the paint on both ends of the floor. There is no one who matches his combination of size, skill and quickness in the 2022 class and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the state for that matter who can matchup with the LC Bird big man!
