Bobby is a very athletic, powerful and versatile guard who brings great energy and effort on both ends of the floor. He combines a compact, powerful frame with deceptive quickness and excellent leaping ability and explosiveness off the floor that allows him to play much taller than 6'1. He also has a long wingspan, a nose for the ball and tremendous competitiveness. Bobby can rip a rebound off the glass and push it end to end demonstrating his solid handle, vision and playmaking skills. He has played every position on the floor and performed well in each role at the varsity level. He can create for himself and for teammates with the dribble possessing the ability to use his physicality to get where he wants with the dribble but also shows a good solid burst and ability to turn the corner and get to the rim. Has a good enough first step to create his own shot on straight-line drives.

Bobby mixes in powerful finishes with some creativity and a great touch around the rim. He can basically launch himself to the rim and draw contact, hang in the air and score. He is also a very capable passer again having played a full season at the point guard position at the junior varsity level. He moves well without the ball and can knock down the jumper both from beyond the arc and in the mid-range but is most effective attacking with the dribble where he looks to get teammates involved and also is an efficient scorer. Bobby is a player you really have to keep a body on as he is so active on the glass and moving without the ball. He uses his strong frame to box out and get rebounding position and also uses quick elevation and very good leaping ability to snatch rebounds over bigger opponents. He plays with a high motor and shows excellent repeat jumping ability. Bobby is a high IQ player who plays to his strengths and is very consistent in his effort and productivity. He has defended effectively at every position from showing good footwork and enough quickness to defend the dribble to contesting shots and is very active around the rim and on the glass. His energy is contagious and his effort sets the tone defensively. Few players have the ability to impact games at multiple positions on both ends of the floor making Bobby a matchup nightmare for opponents. He makes things happen and that will make him a key piece for a team that should make another trip to the state championship tournament.

Bobby is an exciting and game impacting talent and is a player to watch going forward. I've watched him for over three years and liked his potential but the transformation has come in his physical maturity and a trimmed-down frame, the result of his conditioning and work in the weight room. Western Branch Head Coach Paul Hall points to Bobby's approach to his conditioning as being a turning point in his growth as a player. 'Bobby's game started to take off when he began to take conditioning more serious and added range to his jump shot. With his size and ball-handling ability he has always been able to get to the rim and finish around the basket.

Adding three-point range has made him even tougher to defend. He is our jack of all trades as he can do many things. Most importantly he is a winner who hates to lose'. Bobby has all the intangibles you look for in a player and a deep desire to win. Very few can impact a game in many ways.
