Different than the rest of the players here, Robinson is the lone big man listed. Although he’s still just truly scratching the surface of his long-term upside, it’s easy to see the appeal. Robinson is a fluid athlete with long arms, big feet, and great interior timing as a rebounder and shot-blocker. His post-game is still developing but he’s already able to capitalize on finishing opportunities and produce within the paint. Robinson also runs the floor well in transition. He should improve considerably over these next few years.
What To Expect:
Entering his sophomore season, there’s a lot of intrigue surrounding Robinson. It’s easy to see the long-term potential, but the mobile big man is already starting to come into his own. Robinson possesses great length, strength, and fluidity for his size/position. He’s a solid finisher around the basket, but doesn’t necessarily need touches in order to make an impact on either side of the ball. Robinson competes well for rebounds, alters shots defensively, and runs the floor properly in transition. Regarding his trajectory, it’s clear that the big man is beginning to harness his upside. Robinson is getting tougher, more aggressive, and offering increased physicality within the paint. It’s still quite early in his overall development and big men naturally develop slower, so he’ll certainly be a prospect worth monitoring over the coming years.
