What Was Recently Said:

“Gales was one that we had on our radar to watch more and he didn’t disappoint. He finished the day with multiple threes and has consistently been a player that has shown himself to be an effective weapon. Smooth release, finds his spots, can knock down jumpers from an array of levels; strong start for the young man on Day 1.” Later followed by, “Gales is an interesting player to watch out for and has quietly had a very good summer and should only continue that heading into the season.  The 6’1 guard is one that can change the game and can flat-out shoot the ball with a ton of confidence.  He is a high IQ guard, is able to play off the ball and find open spots, and shoots the ball extremely well.  Gales has put up some impressive numbers and had a very strong season.”

What To Expect:

After watching Gales throughout the summer, it’s clear that he should be poised for a highly productive senior season. He’s a balanced floor general with the ability to run an offense, create for others, and apply scoring pressure in a variety of different ways. Gales is an excellent shooting threat, both from midrange and beyond the arc, and does a great job of forcing opponents to respect his range at all times. He handles the ball well and breaks down opposing guards effectively, which allows him to manipulate defenses and make reads when touching the paint. Gales can also play without the ball and pose a terrific threat as a spot-up option. He’s simply a smart, well-rounded guard who should appeal to a healthy variety of coaches, as he clearly knows how to impact winning. Expect Gales to turn heads throughout the coming months.
