What Was Recently Said (7/15/22): Similar to the entry above, Blue typically works as a glue-guy for this group. He’s a long, wiry, adaptable wing prospect who naturally finds success through playing hard, doing the dirty work, and making plays within the confines of the team structure. Blue is a useful shooter, playmaker, and defender who battles for rebounds and second-chance opportunities. He’s able to initiate the offense and create for the team or make his presence felt alongside another guard. Blue should have various college coaches involved.
What To Expect:
During the upcoming season, Brayden Blue should be expected to take on a leadership role for Concord. The Spiders graduated their leading scorer from last year (Johnakin Franklin), but still have a roster full of useful pieces. Surrounding Blue’s fairly well-rounded identity with a variety of guys who have clearly defined roles should make this team quite difficult for most opponents. He’s a smart, steady, unselfish, team-first wing prospect with a high motor and clear willingness to make hustle plays on both ends of the floor. Throughout the summer season, Blue was more than comfortable at producing within his role for Team Hope. However, all signs point to him taking another leap in production with his high school squad. There’s a place for Blue at the next level, so it’ll be interesting to track his recruitment over the coming months.
