AAU Coach Evaluation: Kelvin Nicholson is one of the best kids you will ever coach. 'He is such a pleasure to coach. From March until now he has improved more than any kid I have ever coached. To be that big he runs the floor extremely well. 'His game also includes a jump shot, he can shoot the ball consistently from 15 feet. 'His potential is through the roof, the way he picks things up and his work ethic. 'He could definitely be a Pro at some level!

Coach Frank says: Kelvin is a late blooming and trimmed down absolute beast in the paint area!' A mobile big man with long wingspan and great hands, runs the floor, defends out to 15 feet and is an impact shot blocking and shot changing big man.' He's long and athletic, is a great finisher who can play above the rim but also has a nice touch on his non dunk finishes and in the mid range jumper.' Kelvin has really improved immensely in the past year or so in his ability to handle the basketball to the point where he can lead the break, take the dribble 94' and finish or stay under control and make the right pass!' He is a very good screen and roll or pick and pop candidate as he can hit the 15-18 foot jumper. 'He has developed very good footwork in those situations and in catch and shoot situations. 'He does a great job sealing his defender and presenting himself to the basketball in the post.' Kelvin can also step out and make the straight line drive to the basket.' It is very possible to see Nicholson as a basket attacking big man next season capable of impacting games inside the two point area.' He brings great energy and toughness to the court and really plays hard.' He should establish himself next season as one of the 757's most productive big men and as a result catch the eye of college coaches at all levels!
