Starting Wednesday, Phenom Hoops kicks off the annual July Live period in Raleigh, North Carolina. There will be several showcase games throughout the first few days of the event, including appearances from Team CP3 (2026) and Team United (2027). These squads will feature a variety of the top prospects in the country and should undoubtedly attract college coaches.
On one side, Team CP3 is looking to repeat as Peach Jam Champions after securing the title last summer. They have two guys, Cole Cloer (18 on ESPN) and Kendre Harrison (40 on ESPN) ranked nationally, in addition to an entire roster of notable players. This group includes the likes Jai Richburg, Antonio McKoy, Dionte Neal, Q Williams, Toot Clay, and JR Adams. They will play NLPB Senyo 2025 (12:00) and Stars Gold (2:00) on 7/11.
Their EYBL cohort, Team United has generated as much buzz as any 2027 team over the recent months. They are also headlined by two of the top-ranked players in the country with CJ Rosser (2 on ESPN) and King Gibson (16 on ESPN). However, this group has plenty of highly talented prospects. Guys like Charles Pur, Solomon “Niko” Bratton, Zaiyir Phillips, Karon Watlington, and Josiah Johnson-Freeman make up the core of this group. After their own Peach Jam title, this group will be looking to repeat as champions. They will play Run the Citi (12:00) and NC Spartans Neisler (2:00) on 7/11.
