Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn’t mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks. Let’s dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.
Carolina Pressure
Carolina Pressure 2024
2024 6’1 Jordan Burgess – He is an impact player that does it in a variety of ways. He has the ability to make plays off the catch and off the bounce, can knock down threes from an array of spots, and is an aggressive two-way guard.
2024 5’10 Ladarius Cloud – Cloud is one of my favorite guards to watch, because I know what he is going to bring. He is going to be that grind-it-out, tough defensive guard that plays so scrappy, plays hard, and helps run the show. Love his mindset on the court.
2024 6’6 Jayden Pretty – Pretty has been a player we have highlighted countless of times, and he continues to be the go-to player for this team. He is a strong forward that carves out space, finishes strong in the post or around the basket, and carves out space on the boards. Consistent threat around the basket every time we see him.
2024 6’1 Joshua Smith – He is a difference-maker on the court; he was able to make plays off the bounce, be assertive and tough in attacking the defense, and consistently got to the line for free-bees. Just always seems to be active.
2024 6’2 William Olden – The 6’2 prospect was a threat from the perimeter, as he racked up multiple games in stretching the floor with his confident shooting motion and release.
2024 6’6 Caleb Temoney – He is another intriguing prospect; long, wiry build with shooting capability from the perimeter. But is also able to make plays off the bounce, attacking, and finishing well. There is an upside to his game on both sides of the floor.
Carolina Pressure 2025
2025 Cedric Cisse – he is a payer that plays with a chip on his shoulder. He has good handles, a quick first step, and does a nice job in getting to his spots well for his pull-up game or getting to the basket. Mixed it up nicely.
2025 Tristen McCleary – A guard that excels out in transition. He is an athletic guard that turns defense into offense, never settled, and always was pushing and attacking. McCleary does a nice job off the bounce, gets into the lane, and finishes strong.
2025 6’3 Taurus Lewis – Lewis is one that had a consistent presence on the floor for his team, whether it was having games in which he knocked down shots with range, or mixing it up well and not settling at all times from outside.
Carolina Pressure 2026
The Carolina Pressure program seems to always bring talent to the table to watch for, which is why we are interested in seeing who comes up with the young group. But some of the players like 2026 Quentin McGill Jr, 2026 Ke’Darian Cloud, and 2026 Jason Rogers Jr. (among others) are names that I would jot down and see how they continue to develop.
