Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn't mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let's dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

Mid-State Magic

One program that has been making waves to start the travel ball season has been the Mid-State Magic, especially with their dynamic duo that has been producing in a big way.  2024 Jerquarius Stanback and 2025 Tyshaun Goldston have been lighting it up this season so far, and it seems like they aren't slowing down anytime soon; it is time to start noticing them more.

2024 6'6 Jerquarius Stanback has been a monster this summer so far and is one that has a lot of upside as he continues to develop his overall game. But you can't deny that he plays bigger than he is listed, has a good skill set that intrigues you, and makes an impact in a variety of ways. Stanback does a great job in being a force around the basket with touch, finishing at the rim, and using his wingspan to be active all over the glass. But he uses that length as well to be a rim protector for his team as well. When you have that and you add his ability to step out, put the ball on the deck, knock down shots from outside, and the oozing upside he has as well with his game, he should be a target for college programs.

2025 6'3 Tyshaun Goldston has been the other part of this dynamic duo.  We were introduced to the dual-sport athlete a while back, and he has taken off since then. He really can get whatever he wants on the floor, attacking the basket at will, displaying strong athleticism in his game, hitting jumpers from all over, and making plays off the dribble as well.  But he also can be a team-first guy in seeing the floor, doing the dirty work on the glass, and being that leader on the floor.

These two guys should be names on your watch list for sure for many college programs.
