Just because the LIVE period is over in April, doesn't mean that Phenom Hoops is stopping their coverage, as we are bringing you a ton of post-event coverage as well throughout the coming weeks.  Let's dive into a few players and teams that we saw at the event, as we shed light on players that performed well throughout.

 Team Wall

It was great to see our friends again with Team Wall, a program that has proven itself time after time and has brought some intriguing talent to the courts.  That didn't change when they had Team Wall 2025 and Team Wall 2024 on the floor in Raleigh, as we discuss a few players from each that grabbed our attention more.

Team Wall 2025

2025 Ashton King – It had been a little while since seeing King on the court, so it was good to get an updated viewing. And we are excited to see him again next season; but on the court, King continued to show how effective of a weapon he can be with his perimeter game, knocking down shot after shot with range at times. But it seems like he continues to improve and add more, showing his ability to make plays off the dribble, use his frame to bully defenders and create well for himself also.

2025 Kenny Vera – Vera continues to grab my attention with his game and feel. The 2025 6'3 guard brings a strong frame to the court at his position. At his size, he does a great job of being assertive, being physical but also picking his spots well, and finding ways to get downhill. He handles pressure well, shows the ability to lead the charge, and is an effective option offensively.

2025 Howard Herbert – Herbert had some nice showings as well, really being a good weapon with his shot-making from multiple levels. When watching him, he was able to score from the perimeter, as well as in other areas of the floor.

Team Wall 2024

Overall, this was a very intriguing group and we were really excited to get some updated viewings with this group, so here are a few players to really watch out for more.

2024 Derrick Green – I wasn't able to watch all his games, but when I did sit down to watch the 6'9 big man, I was really impressed with the development he has made with his game. He continues to be a force down in the paint, carving out space, showing good hands on the boards, and finishing really well around the basket. It was hard for any opponent to move him from his spot, but also showed nice touch. But he was also really impressed with his improvement in his jumper, stepping out, good rotation, and can present a threat from the outside as well. Green really showcased his overall improvement on the big stage.

2024 Alonso Easterling – There are certain things to like about his game, but he also brings a lot of intrigues as well in what he could continue to develop into. The 6'11 prospect added an offer shortly after his showing, as the long forward moves well, runs the floor, finishes well at the rim, and can be a difference-maker on both sides of the floor.

2024 Jullien Cole – Cole is one that I've talked about in the past that college coaches should be looking more at, and they seem to be noticing. He has good size at 6'2, and has shown his ability to knock down shots off the ball and with range, but also makes plays with the ball in creating or getting to the line. He is a smart, well-rounded prospect that can create for himself or others, and it was good to see him in an even bigger role for this team.

2024 Xavier Johnson – Another one that deserves more attention, Johnson is simply a tough, athletic prospect that is able to make plays, get to the rim, and can be an explosive finisher on the court. He also has a nice feel from the outside, as well as being an effective option out in transition. He was consistent throughout the event.

2024 Quasim Oden – The 6'1 guard is such a competitor and brings such toughness to the table. He is a rugged, relentless, and scrappy defender, really showcasing his quickness. But he can bring that same quickness on the offensive end, getting paint touches, displaying how shifty he can be, and he continues to thrive as a leader. You can read more about him here, which still stands today: https://phenomhoopreport.com/keep-on-the-lookout-for-2024-quasim-oden-grace-christian-team-wall/

2024 Caden Bell – The 6'2 guard was another nice option on the court.  With NC GBB, he was really able to show more of his ability to create and be that leader, but with Team Wall he was a valuable, smart piece on the court, helping control the game, be an effective decision-maker, finding his teammates, or knocking down shots from outside.
