On November 7th, Phenom Hoop Report will be hosting our third annual High School Jamboree at Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. Over 30 teams will be making their way to Tournament Town to showcase their talents to a plethora of scouts, college coaches, and passionate fans. After thorough review of the field, our team decided to put together a little “sneak preview” of individual players and teams that people need to keep a close eye on.

TEAM:

Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)

HEAD COACH:

Bill Chambers

2014-2015 RECORD:

17-9

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Jack Emerick

Senior post player that does a little bit of everything for Northern and should be the leader going into the year for the Nighthawks. He averaged 10.7 points per game last year and was second on the team in rebounding with 5.9 rebounds per game. Those two totals should increase with Josh Gibson now gone.

Jarrett Boyd

Junior guard that led the team in assists last year as a sophomore, dishing out 3.7 assists per game. He also pitched in close to seven points per game and should be the floor general this year for Coach Chambers. With several seniors leading, we expect his game to flourish and take off.

Andy Pack

A tremendous freshman last year and we certainly expect that role to grow even more with this talented young man. He can really shoot the ball well and is a tough, gritty player. The last time we saw him was at the Phenom150 just a few weeks ago, where he averaged over 18.7 points per game. Watch out for this young sophomore.

OTHER NOTABLE PLAYERS:

Max Maynard – Junior

Kamari Bonds – Senior
