Day 2 continued and boy oh boy, did we get a thriller in this one. This was a back-and-forth affair all game long, with neither team being able to break away from each other. TO start the game though, QEA came out red hot as Camian Shell led a balanced attack that helped get out to a 21-7 lead after the first quarter but NC Storm answered right back in the second quarter, outscoring QEA 21-10. JP Haggarty and Clay Robinson both scored six in the court, finding some success from the outside.
Second half, it was pretty much dead-even throughout, as both teams were trading blows. It was 2023 Trey Green though that stepped up his game, scoring 11 of his 16 points in the second half including nine in the fourth quarter. Jonathan Kurtas chipped in 10 points and JP Haggarty hit three 3-pointers in the game for nine points. QEA was led by Camian Shell, who scored 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter but came up on the wrong end as the buzzer sounded, what would have been the game-tying basket but it didn't quite fall, as NC Storm secured the hard-fought 58-56 win.
