East Lincoln outscored Newton-Conover 43-22 in the 1st'half and cruised in the second to win by a score of 80-50 in the South Fork 2A Conference game Friday night in Conover.
The Mustangs had four players in double figures, led by junior, Justin Kuthan, who had a game and team high 26 points and 7 rebounds, followed by senior, John Bean, who had 17 points and 5 assists, while senior, Sidney Dollar, had 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, and junior, Myles Adams, added 11 points.
Keenan Guerry was the lone Red Devil in double figures with 12 points.
The Mustangs will be in action Tuesday night at home against the West Lincoln Rebels in the first round of the South Fork 2A Conference Tournament.
