The 6th Annual Phenom High School Jamboree will take place Saturday, November 3rd at Northwest Guilford High School and Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event has always gathered some of the top private and public school teams in the state and this year is no exception. 40 teams and 60 games will be played in an exhibition format.

North Meck finished 27-2 last season and graduated six seniors who all moved on to play at the next level. In addition, North Meck lost 6’8 Louisville commit when his family moved out of state. That being said, Coach Duane Lewis returns a talent laden roster that is wanting to put their fingerprints on the North Meck program. They will be somewhat smaller, but expect them to be a quicker and better team defensively. Now, let’s take a closer look at the players who should make an immediate impact.

6’3 2020 Tristan Maxwell

Tristan is a 3-level scorer well known for his outside shooting, but can also score the ball in a variety of ways.  He has spent a lot of time in the weight room increasing his strength and stamina.  Tristan has high major offers and interest from NC State, Florida, South Florida, Butler, Providence, etc.

6’5 2021 Chris Ford

Chris is coming off of one of the best freshman years in North Meck history averaging 14pts and 8rbs per game.  He has an unmatched work ethic is allowing him to showcase his wing skills.  Chris is a tough match up because of his ability to score and defend at any position on the floor.  High level interest from Davidson, Michigan, Butler, South Florida.

6’2 2020 Demar Anderson

Demar is a very strong defender with a great body and long arms.  Demar is a 3-level scorer from the point guard position who also sees the floor very well.  He had a strong summer and we feel that Demar will have a break out year as a Junior.  He has interest and offers from some of the following, Hofstra, USC-Upstate, Elon, Robert Morris, New Orleans, Hampton, etc.

6’0 2020 Shamann Artis

Shamann is pure 3-point  shooter with extended range.  He is very gifted in the open floor.  He has interest and offers from USC-Upstate, UNC-Asheville, Hampton among others.
