The 6th Annual Phenom High School Jamboree will take place Saturday, November 3rd at Northwest Guilford High School and Proehlific Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. This event has always gathered some of the top private and public school teams in the state and this year is no exception. 40 teams and 60 games will be played in an exhibition format. Now, let’s take a closer look at one of the teams participating in the event.

Kings Mountain High School

Coach Grayson Pierce

Last season, Kings Mountain finished with a 24-6 overall record and an impressive 13-1 Big South record in the NCHSAA. While Coach Pierce losing all conference Adrian Delph (Appalachian State), he still has plenty of optimism about the upcoming season. Below is a list of players that should make an immediate impact for the 2018-19 season

6’3 2019 Zeke Littlejohn ( Maryland Eastern Shores)

“Zeke is a great shooter that does not need much room to get his shot off. He is a big time scorer. He has already past the 1000 point mark. He is be come the all time leading score at Kings Mountain this season. Zeke will the the front runner for conference POY in the Big South 3A conference. He should be a impact player his freshman year at UMES with his ability to shoot the ball. UMES got a steal with him.”
6’3 2019 Eli Paysour
“Eli is a work horse. He is a do it all type player. On most other teams Eli would be a 20 ppg type player. But he has played with 3 D1 players the last 3 years (Josh Helton Army, Adrian Delph App State, and Zeke Littlejohn UMES). We can guard almost every position on the floor defensively. Offensively Eli is best at attacking the paint. He is hard to stop getting to the rim. Eli is able to keep the defense honest with his ability to shoot the deep ball. Eli is a glue type guy that college programs need. Eli has interest from Queens, Catawba, Nebraska Wesleyan, Mars Hill, Newberry, and an offer from Davidson County Community College.”
5’10 2022 Isaiah Tate
“Isaiah has a chance to be special. He is one of (if not the best shooter i have coached). He is a really steady ball handler and has great vision in the open and half court. He has a very high basketball IQ to be so young. He will have a chance to be a impact player for us this season as a freshman.”
