The Phenom Grassroots TOC is this weekend in Rock Hill/Fort Mill, as it is the first LIVE Period with Phenom Hoops this season. The talent pool runs deep throughout and we want to give college coaches a leg up on who to watch and who will be in action. Here are a few players to check out for each team, presented by the head coach.
NC Spartans Bowers
Player Name: David Armstrong
Class: 2023
Position: Guard
Game Review: David has a high motor. He plays with great intensity and never takes a play off. He can score off the catch and the dribble. David has a nose for the ball and is a constant threat on the defensive end.
Player Name: Nic Averill
Class: 2023
Position: Guard
Game Review: Nic is another high motor and intense player, both offensively and defensively. Catch and shoot scorer, who can also lead and facilitate.
Player Name: Ethan Bowers
Class: 2023
Position: Guard
Game Review: Developed into more than just a catch and shoot player. Handles pressure, strong with the ball, high IQ and has developed into a strong all-around offensive game.
Player Name: Jackson Goins
Class: 2023
Position: Forward
Game Review: Jackson is an athletic forward with great bounce. He finishes well around the rim and can score in many positions on the floor. Jackson rebounds the ball well on both ends.
Player Name: Jacob Huitsing
Class: 2023
Position: Guard / Forward
Game Review: He is a shooter that when he gets hot, Jacob can completely change the game. Jacob has worked on being an all-around scorer, sees the floor well and is a threat from anywhere on the court.

Position: Guard
Game Review: Seth is a true PG. He is a penetrator and gets to the paint. Seth facilitates well, high IQ and finishes well around the rim for a guard. He defends with a high intensity and puts tremendous pressure on the ball.
Player Name: Davis Raley
Class: 2023
Position: Forward
Game Review: Improved tremendously from last year. He has developed a strong post presence and scores well around the rim. Strong, athletic forward who is a rim protector on defense.
Player Name: Wyatt Scott
Class: 2023
Position: Forward
Game Review: Finishes well around the rim with both hands. Great interior passer and has good vision. Wyatt is also an active rebounder on both ends of the floor.
Player Name: Hayden Williams
Class: 2023
Position: Guard
Game Review: Hayden is a proven knock down shooter. He can score in bunches and is a consistent 3-point threat. Excellent IQ, strong leader and never takes a play off.
