The second game of the early afternoon had a different feel compared to the first.  First Flight and Page Pirates got up and down, scoring at a high level on both sides of the floor.  Both teams put the pressure on each defense but they also scored in different ways.

First Flight, led by senior Dylan Blake, went 9-for-24 from three, a style that is incredibly fun to watch.  Blake led the way with 17 first-half points, knocking down three of the team’s 3-pointers.  Page was more aggressive in attacking inside the perimeter, as the duo of Jaden Ellis and Zion Connor was tremendous in the first half (both scored 16 points each to lead their team).  Each team led by 9 or 10 points but couldn’t’ increase their lead, as it looked like we had another down-to-the-wire matchup.

The offensive shootout continued in the second half but Page was simply too much in the end.  They scored every way possible, going 16-for-20 in the second half and scoring 48 points.  No one could stop Jaden Ellis on his way to 34 points, while Zion Connor and Jason Sellars stepped up as well scoring.

Dylan Blake stole the show for First Flight, leading all scorers with 39 points.  First Flight made 16 3-pointers in the game but only shot 36 percent for the game from behind the arc (16-for-44).

It was certainly an offensive showing and a fun one to watch!
