To start the evening off, we had Carmel Christian and First Flight matched up to start a loaded event in Greensboro.  Carmel Christian was able to get out early to a double-digit lead, creating turnovers and attacking the paint.  It took some time for First Flight to find their rhythm but the three-ball started to fall as they started to climb back into late in the second quarter.  Once down by 22, First Flight cut the score down to nine late in the half and stood within striking distance. 

Carmel Christian created 10 turnovers, while Justin Taylor, Kenny Gwynn, and Myles Hunter led the way with 9 points each.  First Flight went 8-for-19 from three, led by 9 points each from Dylan Blake and Beckett Crossman.

Halftime: Carmel Christian 44 ' First Flight 31

Second half, First Flight continued to keep it within striking distance for much of the third quarter but they were able to create separation in the fourth.  Shots didn't quite fall for First Flight late, while Carmel Christian did what they found success in early' attacking the basket and getting to the line. 

In the end, Carmel Christian shot 53 percent from the floor in the game, while also creating 16 turnovers in the game.  First Flight went 20-for-54 from the floor, with 14 of those makes coming from 3.
