After a thrilling win last night against Cannon, Greensboro Day came back to take on an intriguing matchup against Covenant Day.  The Bengals came out strong early on both ends, as they looked to take the ball out Aden Holloway’s hand.  They were looking to double team the young guard and force others to step up but GDS’ defense was too disruptive early on, helping lead to a 20-9 lead after the first quarter.

Cam Hayes and Brock Williams were effective early, getting to the lane often.  The Bengals were effective, on their way to a 13-for-22 first half.  Thomas Hailey played strong for Covenant Day with 7 points and four rebounds.
