Phenom was on deck to check in at Trinity Academy, as they took on St. David's.  Trinity Academy was able to come out strong early on to jump out to an early double-digit lead by the end of the first quarter, leading 22-9.  The Tigers didn't let up from there, getting out in transition and using their size to their advantage.  It is what helped them gain an impressive 37-16 halftime lead.  Second half wasn't much different, as Trinity's offense continued to find success and shots weren't falling for St. David, as Trinity led 55-22 before they ultimately took home the 61-32 victory to improve to 13-2 overall.

Final: Trinity Academy 61 – St. David's 32

Stats:
Trinity: Clash Peters 17pts, Kevon Vanderhorst 13pts, Cole Becker 8pts, Oakley Kirby 7pts
David: Cooper Berkoff 9pts, George Coleman 13pts, Charlie Moses 6pts

Standouts:

2024 Clash Peters (Trinity): Peters is regarded as one of the better bigs in his class, and he showed why. There were several things that stood out in this game; he did a great job in seeing the whole court and making terrific outlet passes. But he also was strong around the basket, keeping the ball high, displaying touch and feel, and carving out space. He was a dominant force that filled it up.

2023 Kevon Vanderhorst (Trinity): It was good to see Vanderhorst in action again, as the senior guard did a great job mixing it up, scoring in a variety of ways, getting out in transition and finishing around defenders, and finding ways to get to the line.  Also liked his presence on the defensive end, really getting into his opponents.

For St. David, Soph. Cooper Berkoff grabbed some attention with his ability to create off the dribble, set up and find his teammates, but also create for himself. And George Coleman did a nice job in showing his range on his shot-making ability.
