His play helped RS Central retain a 27-20 halftime lead.

Second half, Polk County struggled to find offense, only scoring two points in the quarter and RS Central was able to expand its lead to double digits and lead 36-22 after three.  Wilkins got it going again in the fourth quarter, as he was able to put the game away and secure a 50-31 victory on the road.

Final: RS Central 50 – Polk County 31

Standout:

2025 Zymicah Wilkins (RS Central): He was the star of the game and it was a nice chance to get an updated viewing of the sophomore prospect, who is ranked as one of the top players in his class.  When you talk about Wilkins and his game, he continues to bring so much intrigue.  He is light on his feet, moves extremely well, and is quite fluid for a player at his position.  Wilkins was able to show his ability to be comfortable in operating in the paint, but also step out, makes plays off the dribble, and find ways to make plays on his own.  He showed that he could be effective with his outside game, knocking down mid-range shots and even step out even further.  But he also ran the floor, finished strong at the rim, and was extremely fluid with how he was able to make plays down low and on the boards.  Another strong showing from the sophomore forward, as he finished with 30 points to lead his team.
