Phenom Hoops wanted to check in on an early game on Tuesday, which led us to Neuse Charter vs. Princeton. Princeton has been playing extremely well this season, defeating their opponents pretty extensively for much of the season. On Tuesday, it seemingly looked to be much of the same, as Princeton jumped out to an early 21-2 first-quarter lead. Zion McPhatter led the charge early in the first and then it was their senior leader Jaheim Taylor, who scored 10 of his 14 first-half points in the second. By halftime, it was 42-5. The offense didn't change much in the second half either, as Princeton scored 33 points in the third and ended the game with 94 points, with six players in double-figures. Final score: 94-23.

Stats:
Princeton:
Jaheim Taylor 27 points
Jacob McCain 15 points
Hunter Bailey 12 points

Neuse Charter:
T. Noles 6 points
A. Phillips 4 points

Standouts:

2021 Jaheim Taylor (Princeton): The senior leader was tremendous once again, as this young man looks to be on a mission and is one of the clear leaders on the court. He has good size, can play well on and off the ball.  Early on, he started to get others involved early but then he started to show his scoring power, something he has done pretty regularly this season, attacking and getting to the rim or getting to the foul line.

2021 Zion McPhatter and 2021 Jacob McCain (Princeton) both played well as well. McPhatter came out strong early, getting out in transition, but also knocking down an early three. McCain came in the second half and found his offensive game, scoring from multiple levels on the floor on his way to 15 points.
