Standouts:
2028 6’9 Xavier Hall (Lakewood)
We heard some rumblings about this young freshman (Click Here), so we had to check him out and we were impressed with the flashes we saw. The big man has great size and frame at his age, and we were highly impressed with his hands. Really good feel and instincts on the glass, has a quick and soft touch around the basket, makes himself big with his length and size, and finishes well around the basket. Hall did a nice job running the floor, getting to his spots, staying active in the paint, and being a strong presence scoring and finishing and being strong on the boards.
2025 Cameron Williams (Lakewood)
Williams was another prospect who led the charge for Lakewood. Having a football-like frame, Williams shows that he is quite nimble for his size. He surprised us with how well he moved on the court, his ability to knock down shots from multiple levels, and his ability to finish around the basket or get to the free-throw line. He and Hall bring a big presence on the court for Lakewood that makes them tough to beat.
2025 Malcolm Driver (Pender)
Driver was a bright spot for Pender, as the 6’2 senior guard was able to find ways to score and play with energy. He attacked and pushed up the floor offensively, was able to find ways to score inside, and wasn’t afraid to step out and knock down shots as well. He led the way for his team, in what was an overall balanced attack.
