Nothing like Championship Sunday, as teams looked to cap off a terrific weekend of basketball in Rock Hill with a little hardware from the Phenom G3 Showcase. Overall, the competition was fantastic and players came to compete, as we recap each championship showdown from the event.
Team Trezz Taylor and Team Hardaway Jr. collided to start the day off right in the 15u Division. Both teams really played well all weekend long and wanted to end it off right and that could be seen as these teams went back and forth in the first half. Second half continued to be more of a back-and-forth affair but Team Trezz Taylor was able to create a little space late in the game with their balanced attack, getting to the line and knocking down a few key shots. They were able to create a late double-digit lead but Team Hardaway continued to battle and stay close. In the end, Trezz made enough plays on both ends to secure the 62-53 win and the 15u Red Division.
