6-foot-10 Immanuel Bates of Northwood Temple will be someone to look out for in the Phenom's Feast of Champions (Nov. 25-26). He currently carries offers from Clemson, Virginia Tech, DePaul, Tulsa, Tulane, Charlotte, Northern Arizona, Middle Tennessee State, VCU, Cincinnati, and James Madison.

After the NC Phenom 150 Session 2 last year, we wrote: 'Bates is definitely one to put in the memory bank and you sim card. What you see currently is not the finished product. With that being said, he has unlimited upside and potential with his extremely long 7'3 wingspan. Coach Praeger stated, 'Bates is an unselfish player. His attitude and interest in learning the game will serve him well in his development.' More importantly, Bates has solid athleticism and plays above the rim. The next step in his development is to get physically stronger which will come in due time. He has passer friendly hands and is also a willing passer out of the post.'

National Analyst Jamie Shaw stated, 'Bates has an incredible high upside and he is already added 11 pounds since the summer. He is a slender post player that has natural timing and great athleticism. With his time remaining in high school, it will be fun watching him develop even more.'
