Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.
Here is the latest commitment.
Player: Chadlyn Traylor
Class: 2025
Committed to: Charleston
“He’s an extremely poised, intelligent point guard prospect with an unselfish approach and phenomenal all-around balance. Traylor is a natural leader by example who plays at his own pace, sets up others at a high volume, and scores with efficiency from multiple levels. He handles the ball with care and precision, never getting rushed or forced into errant miscues, and makes great reads as a playmaker. Traylor also contains his position well defensively.”
“Another prospect who has been rising up the ranks and not only reminding everyone of his game but also catching the eyes of college programs has been Traylor. The 6’3 guard has been electric this summer and showing how he has elevated his game as well as being a leader. Traylor is a strong creator and is getting a chance to flourish as a scorer with the ball in his hands. And we don’t believe that he will be slowing down this upcoming high school season.”
“Traylor has really seen an uptick in his game, and we are excited to see what he could do this upcoming season with 2024 Isaiah Evans now at Duke. Traylor is a strong, dynamic guard who has been putting his team on his back more and showing more of his overall game, whether it is creating off the dribble, scoring strong and penetrating, and producing in a variety of ways. Not only has his ranking increased now being in the Top 10, but his recruitment has only continued to rise as well.”
“It’s no secret Traylor is regarded as one of the top lead guards in the state for his class. Traylor has always been a rock-solid point guard who has the ability to control pace and tempo and could be the one player that pushes North Mecklenburg over the top. Playing in front of ECU coaches, Traylor at one time went 11-13 from the floor, scoring from all three levels on the floor. He’s the consummate point guard and his addition will be a welcome bonus.”
