Each and every time Phenom Hoops gets to report or sees a commitment from a player we have seen over the years, it is always a fantastic day. It is great to see players achieve their goal to play at the next level and it is such a great accomplishment for that player.
Here is the latest commitment.
Player: Elijah Green
Class: 2024
Committed to: William Peace
What Has Been Said:
“Green has had a very good year overall in showing more of what he is capable of providing on the court. He had a solid year leading the way for Covenant Day and he hasn’t slowed down one bit this summer. What you have really seen overall with his game and growth is his overall presence and ability to make plays; whether it is being more effective as a scorer, showing more consistency with his shot, or his ability to lead the team, Green has really opened more eyes with what he provides and that should only continue into the upcoming season.”
“I’ve been impressed with what Green has done this summer, as I’ve certainly noticed that he has stepped up his game, added more to his game, and has shown he can be a go-to leader on the court. Green is one that has really blossomed as a stronger creator, has improved his consistency in knocking down shots, and continues to play with toughness/grittiness on both sides. Green doesn’t back down and competes, and I believe he is going to make even more noise this year.”
“Green is a guard that should start earning more attention his way with how he has played over the last year and what he showed at the Team Camp. One of the clear leaders on this team, Green plays with such grit on the floor. Scrappy guard that competes, looks for his own shot, reads the defense well, and just plays scrappy on both sides of the floor. Look for him to have another strong season again at Covenant Day.”
