The Phenom Challenge is one of the biggest events around the region and in the country, as 180 teams look to compete at the highest level.

We are expecting a HUGE turnout for this event in Spartanburg, SC on April 26-28. So, Phenom Hoop Report wants to do our part in starting the buzz for the event.

Players and teams, of all ages, will have a chance to play in front of college coaches throughout the weekend. But here are a few players to watch out for, as we preview teams that will be competing.

Check out a few names to look out for.

Team: United Elite Spartans 16u

Player: Joshua Dorsey (Class: 2021, Position: SG,SF, Height: 6’2)

Joshua has a great attitude and is a lengthy athlete who can shoot the ball as well as finish above the rim. He attacks the basket well and can knock down the 3 ball. Joshua averages 18 points per game and 3 rebounds. He has a very good feel for the game.

Player: Cameron Warren (Class: 2021, Position: PG, SG, Height: 5’9)

Cameron Warren displays an advanced skill set for his age/grade. He handles the ball extremely well and has excellent court vision. He plays much bigger than his listed size. Cameron plays extremely hard on the defensive side of the ball and has a desire to win every possession. He takes the ball to the rim with power and always find a way to finish. He plays hard and can be a player that can change a game on both ends of the court. Cameron is a player who has to be covered tightly or he will put up points in a hurry, especially from deep.
