The Phenom Challenge is one of the biggest events around the region and in the country, as 180 teams look to compete at the highest level.

We are expecting a HUGE turnout for this event in Spartanburg, SC on April 26-28.' So, Phenom Hoop Report wants to do our part in starting the buzz for the event.

Players and teams, of all ages, will have a chance to play in front of college coaches throughout the weekend.' But here are a few players to watch out for, as we preview teams that will be competing.

Team: PSB Elite Brim 17u

Brockmann, Jake (2020 | 6' 5 | Wing | 3.8 GPA)

Jake is a shooter. He excels at coming off screens or catching the defense off guard for catch-and-shoot opportunities.''Jake knows how to use his height to put himself at an advantage on both ends of the floor.'Jake often surprises opponents with his defensive efforts as he blocks shots and grabs rebounds.

Callahan, Aiden (2020 | 6'1 | Guard/Wing | 3.0 GPA)

Aiden is the definition of coachable. He has a great work ethic. Offensively he can knock down shots and finish around the rim. Defensively he is solid and has a knack for rebounding.

Clements, Grayson (2020 | 6'4 | Forward | 3.3 GPA)

Grayson is a hardworking kid who will run through a brick wall if you asked him to. He gives 110% on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. He’s a great kid to get the team motor running.

Elaasar, Kaden (2020 | 5'9 | Guard | 3.7 GPA)

Kaden is a go-getter. Once he sees the ball go through the net, he can really heat up! Kaden is able to knock down shots and get to the basket. On the other end of the floor, his quickness allows him to be a pest as disrupt offenses.

Hodge, NiShawn (2020 | 6'2 | Guard/Wing | 3.6 GPA)

NiShawn is an all-around, poised basketball player. He gives 100% effort on both ends of the floor. He finishes well on the offensive end and is a solid defender. He displays leadership qualities through the way he constantly encourages and communicates with teammates and coaches.

Kalariotes, Elias (2020 |6'1 | Guard/Wing | 4.2 GPA)

Elias is a solid basketball player. He's not afraid to handle the basketball and run the offense as asked by the coach. Defensively he gives you 100% effort every time down the floor. Elias stays poised under pressure and doesn’t allow others to frustrate you.

McClendon, Quame (2020| 6'3 | Wing | 3.0 GPA)

Quame is the x-factor. He is dual-sport athlete who uses his size and strength to his advantage on the court.' He's a scorer; he can consistently knock down shots and finish around the rim.

Van Gundy, Owen (2020| 5'10 | Guard | 3.6 GPA)

Owen is natural leader. He takes pride in being an extended voice of the coach on the floor. He can knock down shots, finish underneath the basket, and is great at controlling the basketball. Defensively, Owen is as tough as nails. He embraces the challenge of guarding anybody on the floor.
