The Phenom Challenge is one of the biggest events around the region and in the country, as 180 teams look to compete at the highest level.

We are expecting a HUGE turnout for this event in Spartanburg, SC on April 26-28.' So, Phenom Hoop Report wants to do our part in starting the buzz for the event.

Players and teams, of all ages, will have a chance to play in front of college coaches throughout the weekend.' But here are a few players to watch out for, as we preview teams that will be competing.

Elite lockdown defensive player. Taemon has a nonstop motor.' Hi IQ player with an elite speed that controls tempo well on offense and makes his teammates better in game.

Javonte Tillery #1 PG 5'10 2022

Great full-court defensive player. Has the ability to get to the basket at will and finish. Three level scorer with the ability to know it down from deep. High motor, high energy player that runs the floor well.

Te'Shawn Turnage #32 WG 5'10 2022

High energy player that works hard on both ends. Te'Shawn has a nonstop motor that coaches pray for. Te'Shawn is a walking double-double threat every game with a nice touch from deep.

Savion Shamby #11 SF 6'0 2022

Savion has great athleticism that allows him to impact the game in various ways.' Savion is a good defensive player that shoots well from all three levels. Rebounds well and can finish at the rim.

Timothy Mitchell #5 C 6'3 2022

High motor, high energy player that runs the floor as well as a big. Timothy is a very athletic defender that uses his length to disrupt opponents. Timothy is a great rebounder and rim protector with a good jump shot. Timothy works hard on both ends of the floor.
