The Phenom Challenge is one of the biggest events around the region and in the country, as 180 teams look to compete at the highest level.
We are expecting a HUGE turnout for this event in Spartanburg, SC on April 26-28. So, Phenom Hoop Report wants to do our part in starting the buzz for the event.
Players and teams, of all ages, will have a chance to play in front of college coaches throughout the weekend. But here are a few players to watch out for, as we preview teams that will be competing.

6’6 210 Brandon Johnson of Rolesville
He can shoot the 3 and put the ball on the floor as well as take it in the post. Brandon won MVP of the Bronze ACC 16/17u at the Queens City Phenom.
6’4 175 Raje Knight
Is a steady point guard that can flat out play and have a very high IQ and feel for the game. Looking to attend Southeast Raleigh next season for his senior year.
6’2 Darien Long 175 of Rolesville
He is a combo do it all guard that can score it with the best of them Crafty at scoring from all 3 levels but can control the game with pace.
6’0 Jamarion Griffin of JH Rose
Griffin is a scoring point guard with deadly range. Has a knack for getting to his spots.
5’10 Rashad Heggie
He is a smooth ball handler with a terrific long ball and will catch players off guard because of his size.
6’3 Kevin Hamilton of JH Rose
Is a dog and won’t be denied. A great football player that brings the football attitude to the court and never takes a play off.
6’0 Justice Radway of Rolesville
Is a defensive stopper and dog. He get after it and a very good slasher.
6’7 Fermin Bouba of Kerr Vance Academy
Bouba is a rebound machine and excellent shot blocker. He really know how to use his length.
5’10 Jammal Wesley of New Bern high
Is lightning quick and very good defensively. Will guard his man end to end relentlessly.
6’2 Jalin Hall of Jones Senior High
Can really shoot the long ball with the best of them. He is a 3 point Marksmen
