Game 3 was next on deck for Day 1, as Concord Academy was looking to continue their success early on this season, going up against a pesky Ardrey Kell team.  Both teams were getting a strong feel for each other early on, with both looking to figure out each team defensively. Concord Academy was able to attack using their size and athleticism, but Ardrey Kell was able to answer right back with their quick guards and ability to knock down mid-range shots.  It was a back-and-forth type game for much of the first half, with Concord holding the narrow lead at halftime.

Going into the second half, Concord Academy was able to continue to maintain their small lead but credit to Ardrey Kell who continued to battle throughout the game, staying within striking distance for the entire game.' In the end, the size and shot-making from Concord Academy were just too much in the end, but the guards from Ardrey Kell played extremely well.' When the final buzzer came, it was Concord Academy that was able to earn the 69-60 victory.
