The championship game everyone was waiting for, between Carmel Christian and Cannon. Cannon was off to a slow start to begin the game with a score of 12-3. They continue their lead to as much as 13. Cannon fought back but was still down by 10 at the end of the first quarter 28-18. To come out the second quarter cannon started off on fire cutting the deficit to 3-points. At half Carmel Christian led the way 41-36.
Coming in from halftime Cannon came out ready to play. They tied the game up mid-way through the quarter and ended up leading by 6, 44-50, before the quarter ended. To finish the quarter Carmel Christian was down by 2, 54-52. To start this exciting fourth quarter Carmel Christian took the lead by 6. As the quarter continued Carmel Christian went on a run to take the score to 71-58. Cannon couldn’t recover and ended up losing, 75-58.
